Project Oversight Specialist
Critical to our organisation's goals is the timely delivery of high-quality capital works projects. As a key contributor, you will provide strategic advice and apply change management principles in complex settings.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in project coordination, with strong stakeholder relationship-building skills and a solid understanding of government policy.
This role involves leading the planning and delivery of minor to medium capital works projects within a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders, requiring effective communication and negotiation skills.
To succeed, you will draw on internal and external expertise to provide accurate and timely advice that supports leading-edge project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of minor and medium works projects, integrating strategic needs and science objectives to deliver value-driven outcomes
- Manage concurrent project activities with a focus on whole-life, client engagement, consultation, and change management
- Develop and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, compliant, and fit-for-purpose facilities
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders and develop strategies for high-quality outcomes
- Oversee and report on project performance, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs, are cost-effective, and sustainable
Please note that periodic domestic travel is required.
