The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Events & Engagement Officer to join our Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement team in a full-time, permanent capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate strategic, creative events to raise CareSouth's brand awareness, promote our services, support clients and connect with the community.
  • Work with the marketing team and other departments to achieve community and stakeholder engagement goals.
  • Develop and implement fundraising campaigns, source and coordinate donations, sponsorships, merchandise and gifts to support relevant events, programs and departments.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in event management or similar discipline, or proven work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating and evaluating small- and large-scale events with diverse purposes.
  • Ability to exercise creativity and develop new ideas.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to present solutions and use initiative.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder relations experience to build relationships and effectively support suppliers, customers, partners and clients.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritise competing tasks and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships.
  • Proactive approach to professional development and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Current Driver's licence.
  • Will to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance.
