About the Role
The Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement team at CareSouth is expanding. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Event Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity.
The Event Coordinator works with the marketing team and other departments to develop, plan, and coordinate strategic events to raise CareSouth's brand awareness, promote our services, support clients, and connect with the community.
This role is responsible for community and stakeholder engagement activities to build connections and enhance experiences, including developing and implementing fundraising campaigns, sourcing and coordinating donations, sponsorships, merchandise, and gifts to support relevant events, programs, and departments.
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in event management or a similar discipline, or proven work experience.
- Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, and evaluating small- and large-scale events, both internal and external with diverse purposes.
- Ability to exercise creativity and develop new ideas.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to present solutions and use initiative.
- Demonstrated stakeholder relations experience to build relationships and effectively support suppliers, customers, partners, and clients.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritise competing tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships.
- Proactive approach to professional development and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Current Driver's licence.
- Willing to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance.
