About the Role
The Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement team at CareSouth is expanding. We are seeking an experienced Events & Engagement Officer to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity.
The Events & Engagement Officer works with the marketing team and other departments to develop, plan, and coordinate strategic, creative events to raise CareSouth's brand awareness, promote our services, support clients, and connect with the community.
This role is responsible for community and stakeholder engagement activities to build connections and enhance experiences, including developing and implementing fundraising campaigns, sourcing and coordinating donations, sponsorships, merchandise, and gifts to support relevant events, programs, and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate small- and large-scale events, both internal and external, with diverse purposes.
- Develop new ideas and exercise creativity to enhance events and engagement activities.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, partners, and clients.
- Work independently and as part of a team, prioritising competing tasks and remaining calm under pressure.
- Proactively approach professional development and commit to continuous learning.
- Hold a current Driver's licence and be willing to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance.
