CareSouth is a community-based organisation with a vision to make a difference every day.

We are seeking a skilled Events & Engagement Officer to join our Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement team.

The successful candidate will work with our marketing team and other departments to develop and coordinate strategic events for CareSouth.

The role involves planning, coordinating and evaluating events for diverse purposes, including building connections with local communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising campaigns and source donations, sponsorships, merchandise and gifts to support events and programs.
  • Coordinated diverse events for internal and external stakeholders, including local communities.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, customers, partners and clients to support events and programs.
  • Exercise creativity and develop new ideas for events and programs.
  • Manage event budgets and resources effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve event goals.

Requirements

  • R
  • evant tertiary qualification in event management or similar discipline, or proven work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating and evaluating events.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Current Driver's licence.
  • Will to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance.
