The Role
The Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement team at CareSouth is expanding. We seek an experienced Events and Engagement Officer to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity.
The Events and Engagement Officer works closely with the marketing team and other departments to develop, plan, and coordinate strategic events that raise CareSouth's brand awareness, promote our services, and support clients. This role involves planning small and large-scale events for diverse purposes across our footprint, with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement event strategies to achieve CareSouth's marketing objectives.
- Coordinate and execute events, conferences, and activities that enhance our brand presence and engage with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials, event communications, and marketing collateral.
- Foster relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for event growth and improvement.
- Provide event management support to other departments as required.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in event management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and evaluation, with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to present solutions.
- Demonstrated stakeholder relations experience to build relationships and effectively support suppliers, customers, partners, and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing competing tasks and remaining calm under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships.
- Proactive approach to professional development and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Current Driver's license.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance.
