Sustainability Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Country Road Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our 5 green star sustainable stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assist with project initiatives to timeline and budget
- Collate and submit all documentation that supports/verifies the sustainable nature of the project in line with the 5 green star rating requirements
- Update and maintain information in a consistent, accurate, and reliable manner
- Support the Project Manager with management of quotes, budgets, and administration duties
- Organise and maintain store project files and general files accordingly
- Proactively follow up on construction to ensure that all design briefs from the group architects and engineers and are aligned with the council policies
- Assist and provide guidance with all stores and Support Office maintenance.
Requirements
- A candidate with a passion for sustainability, ethical practices and the circular economy is essential
- Outstanding time management and great organisational skills
- Strong administration and coordination skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel background will be highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of staff
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage confidential information
- Exposure to working within a construction, property or real estate team within a retail environment will be highly regarded.
