The role of the Service Desk Manager at Max Solutions in Eight Mile Plains is to oversee daily operations and ensure end-users receive high-quality assistance with exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a professional with extensive knowledge of ITIL methodology, experience implementing change, and a strong understanding of best practices for service desk management.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Service Desk and remote control software, as well as a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • They must be customer service-oriented, with a problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

About the Opportunity

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for managing a Service Desk team to deliver on service level agreements. You will develop, manage, measure, and report on key service-level metrics, leveraging service desk best practices and the ITIL process framework.

You will design and enforce request handling and other team-specific policies and procedures, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement.

About You

To succeed in this position, you should have proven experience managing a successful Service Desk team or technical environment supporting a large customer base. A BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field is essential, along with ITIL qualifications and the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
