Lead Activities Program Manager

This is a leadership role that involves overseeing the activities department and creating engaging programs for guests.

  • About the Role:
  • Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will lead a team of Activities Hosts and Outdoor Activities Instructors.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating activities programs and procedures for the activities department.
  • Your goal will be to provide a safe and entertaining environment for kids and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise, train and mentor Activities Holiday Hosts.
  2. Create, implement and coordinate activities programs and events.
  3. Manage rosters for all Activities Holiday Hosts.
  4. Maintain and lead the BGSA Mission Program.
  5. Ensure services offered in activities programs are available and efficient.
  6. Coordinate equipment associated with activities programs and perform audits.

Requirements:

  • An innovative, enthusiastic and guest-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engaged and successful teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial and strategic management experience.
  • A flexible attitude to work and passion to work as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, tourism or 3 years' experience in a similar role.
