Project Coordinator

This is a dynamic and challenging role where you will play a key part in delivering projects to a high standard. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams and directorates, supporting cross-functional efforts to achieve regulatory and operational outcomes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the development, coordination, and communication of business and project management activities. This will include gathering and analysing data to inform evidence-based decision making and improve programme effectiveness.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and communicate on business and project management activities
  • Analyse data to inform decision making and improve programme effectiveness
  • Gather resources to support workers, businesses, and industry in understanding and meeting their safety obligations
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and with quality outcomes
  • Work flexibly across multiple projects, balancing competing demands while ensuring delivery of outcomes on time and to a high standard
  • Ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, quality standards, and within agreed scope

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to effectively collaborate within a team and with external partners.
  • Skilled in writing clear and professional communications and operational materials.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Capable of analysing information and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Flexible and adaptive, able to operate in an ever-changing environment.
  • Experience working with or within a regulatory, compliance, or government environment is highly regarded.
