As a Project Controls Specialist at HDR, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our projects. With your expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and resource management, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, managing project costs, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including baseline schedules, monthly schedule updates, and time impact analyses;
  • Manage project costs, including budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and explanations of variances;
  • Collaborate with project personnel, including engineers and project managers, to develop and manage project schedules and narratives;
  • Analyse and report on project schedules, identifying delays, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Business;
  • Demonstrated experience in major transport design and/or construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, and project reports;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret construction schedules;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • The ability to actively progress knowledge in areas such as oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, coordination and prioritization of multiple long and short-term tasks, organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities;
