Sales Executive - Public Sector

At SAS, we're looking for a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team in the Public Sector. As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for executing sales strategies across our full SAS portfolio in Public Sector, including software and cloud solutions.

About the Role

  • Sell SAS solutions to enterprise customers in the Public Sector
  • Stay ahead of the curve by knowing SAS goals, objectives, and market trends
  • Understand SAS pricing, licensing procedures, and approvals matrix
  • Uncover high-potential accounts and follow leads
  • Work with other sales professionals and executives to react to qualified leads
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, and finalize contracts and delivery schedules

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience in software sales, with a focus on Public Sector
  • Ability to relate technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs
  • Growth mindset, creativity, and a value-based selling approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
