Hitachi Construction Machinery has an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join the team as a Customer Support Representative. Based out of our Dandenong branch, this role will have you selling market-leading products and services across the range of Hitachi and Bell equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain successful working relationships with customers
  • Promote the Hitachi range of parts and service solutions to achieve budgeted sales targets
  • Identify areas for business growth and develop suitable strategies to generate parts and service sales
  • Work to a customer call cycle and actively build parts & service quotes tailored to customers' needs
  • Efficiently liaise with current and potential customer base with accurate reporting of activity, sales, prospects, and market activity
  • Ensure that all interactions with customers and internal stakeholders are conducted professionally and all requests are followed up as required

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification – Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification within the construction/earthmoving industry is preferred
  • Technical understanding of earthmoving & construction equipment
  • Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • A motivated and ambitious commitment to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including the use of CRM
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously
  • A current driver's licence
