Job Title

A Community Mental Health Clinician plays a vital role in providing recovery-focused clinical services to individuals experiencing mental illness, distress, and/or risk issues.

This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, care coordinate, intervene, and review the needs of consumers, with the goal of promoting recovery and resilience through strength-based approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review as part of a team.
  • Support mental wellness in the community by promoting recovery and resilience through evidence-based interventions.
Required Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in contemporary clinical mental health practice, including assessments and evidence-based interventions.
  • Understanding of NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
  • Collaborative strengths-based approach to care.
  • High level communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence and ability to travel as required.
