Job Overview
The Community Mental Health Clinician plays a vital role in providing recovery-focused clinical services for individuals with mental illness, distress, and/or risk issues. Our team supports mental wellness in the community, promoting recovery and resilience.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review services as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Engage consumers, families, carers, and stakeholders in their care plan through collaborative and strengths-based approaches.
- Foster a culture of mental health rehabilitation and recovery by working with a diverse range of clients.
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience in contemporary clinical mental health practice, including assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- A comprehensive understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007) is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and high computer literacy are required for effective teamwork and record-keeping.
- A valid unrestricted driver's license and ability to travel as needed are necessary for regular site visits.
