Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality clinical services to individuals with mental illness, distress, and/or risk issues.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide recovery-focused care coordination, assessment, intervention, liaison, and review as part of our collaborative team effort. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical services including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review for people referred to the service.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support mental health outcomes.
- Demonstrating high-level communication skills to engage with consumers, families, carers, and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience in contemporary clinical mental health practice.
- A strong understanding of NSW Mental Health Act (2007) and mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles.
