We're looking for an experienced leader to drive the success of our Gases logistics operations. This role involves overseeing all logistics activities related to Gases contracts, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and standardised processes.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in logistics or a business-related field, as well as demonstrated management experience in transport, logistics, or a related industry. They will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, managing resources, and driving operational efficiency.

About the Role:
  • Drive Safety Culture: Lead the implementation of Toll's Safety Obsessed program and foster a culture of care, accountability, and rigorous safety risk management.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all logistics operations related to Gases contracts, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and standardised processes.
  • Team & Culture Development: Provide inspirational leadership to build a high-performance team and a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration, capability uplift, and continuous improvement.
  • Resource & Asset Management: Ensure optimal allocation of people, systems, financial resources, and assets to meet operational plans and drive productivity.
  • Customer & Commercial Focus: Build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and apply commercial acumen to deliver sustainable, profitable partnerships.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion initiatives that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and enhance value and profit performance across customer contracts.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in logistics or business-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated management experience in transport, logistics, or related industry
  • Strong knowledge with WA HVA (Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Accreditation) and AMMS (Accredited Mass Management Scheme)
