Job Summary

The Procurement Support Lead is a pivotal role in driving strategic procurement initiatives that prioritize security and confidence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the procurement team to ensure growth, compliance, and excellence.
  • Manage Enterprise Resource Planning systems to guarantee their optimal performance and continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to safeguard organizational interests.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for efficient procurement cycles.
  • Align procurement strategies with overall business objectives across departments.
  • Oversight of procurement budgets to ensure cost-effective spending.
  • Lead innovative projects to anticipate market trends.
  • Evaluate procurement decisions against quality and compliance standards.
  • Balancing customer needs with internal requirements in procurement strategies.

About You:
  • A minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a global organization.
  • Strong skills in contract negotiation, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, and procurement processes.
  • Proven leadership ability to mentor and inspire teams.
  • Analytical skills to navigate complex procurement landscapes.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and supplier engagement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification; certifications in supply chain or procurement management are advantageous.
