The Role

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this role will oversee end-to-end procurement across raw materials, packaging, consumables, and indirects. Managing both local and international suppliers, the Strategic Procurement Manager will :

  • Build and implement the procurement framework to optimise supplier performance and ensure sustainable, cost-effective supply.
  • Take ownership of supplier relationships, renegotiate contracts, and diversify the supplier base.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (TGA, FDA, GMP) and maintain quality and risk management standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across product development, manufacturing, and quality to align procurement with business goals.
  • Mentor and develop a Procurement Officer, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Drive cost optimisation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills

The successful candidate will bring :

5+ years' experience in procurement, ideally within FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or health / wellness industries.Strong supplier management and contract negotiation skills across both domestic and international markets.Knowledge of regulatory requirements (TGA, FDA, GMP) and quality compliance.Proven ability to design and implement procurement frameworks and processes.Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite advantageous).Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.A down-to-earth, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in an agile and growth-focused environment.
