Operational Excellence Lead

The Manufacturing Manager will drive value by owning and leading significant levers of safety, people, quality, efficiency, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead genuine safety-first practices, ensuring all policies, procedures, and processes are adhered to, understood, and practiced
  • Develop front-line capabilities, continuous improvement, and foster Lean manufacturing practices to achieve high performance
  • Establish overall strategy and standards for best practices to improve efficiency and minimize production downtime
  • Manage daily and weekly production schedules for achieving optimum production efficiencies and DIFOT
  • Work closely with Quality/Supply Chain and Engineering to optimize production performance and ensure operational excellence in all areas of production
  • Provide leadership, coaching, support, and performance management
  • Ensure all ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards and practices are achieved
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate visible belief and leadership in driving a Zero Harm culture
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Working background in manufacturing environment that embraces operational excellence
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills to lead and inspire the operations team
  • Proven background in continuous improvement and change management experience
  • Aptitude to communicate with a wide range of people coupled with coaching and development skills
  • Outcomes-focused with the ability to balance production, safety, and resources
