Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Production Manager to lead our custom joinery manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing production workflows, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products, and developing strong relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a focus on team development. They will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, managing CNC-based workflows, and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning and Workflow Management: Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
  • Daily Workshop Operations: Manage all aspects of workshop operations from material intake to final delivery.
  • Leadership and Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Implement and maintain high-quality manufacturing standards across all joinery and furniture outputs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a production management role within a custom joinery or fitout manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a hands-on approach and a focus on team development.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Solid knowledge of WHS regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
