About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the development and execution of manufacturing engineering strategies for the Secondary Propulsion System. The successful candidate will coordinate across design, production, and quality teams to ensure successful industrialisation and integration of propulsion components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing engineering strategies for the Secondary Propulsion System.
  • Act as the CDRL lead for Secondary Propulsion Manufacturing Capability.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and integration.
  • Maintain manufacturing plans, process documentation, and tooling requirements.
  • Support facility readiness and equipment selection for production capability.
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead technical mentoring for manufacturing engineering staff.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support program objectives.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering within complex, regulated environments, such as Defence Shipbuilding Programs.
  • Proven leadership in delivering manufacturing capability for propulsion or mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of CDRL processes and Defence contracting requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination skills.
