About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the management of a production plant, including manufacturing products in alignment with our Quality Management System and internal objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacture of company's products, promoting quality, on-time delivery, and financial performance.
  • Serve as resource for technical expertise, lean thinking, and problem-solving, leading plant teams to optimize production effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Promote flow of materials and relevant information, upholding Health & Safety and Environmental standards, and fostering staff engagement and loyalty.
  • Develop motivated, flexible, and loyal team to support above goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in challenging and improving manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in Lean Thinking and Problem Solving (Six Sigma or similar methodologies).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent people management and communication abilities.
  • Skilled in change management.
  • Thorough understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Experience with hazardous substances management.
  • Experience in facility and property management.
  • Knowledgeable in New Product Development processes and industrialization.
  • Knowledge in design for manufacturability and safety.
  • Relevant engineering degree (mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing) with honors or a master's degree.
