Job Overview:
">The role of a Medical Workforce Development Specialist is critical to the success of medical training and education programs in South Australia.This specialist will be responsible for developing a medical trainee data collection framework, collaborating with the medical education team, and coordinating the recruitment and allocation of interns and trainee medical officers across public hospitals. The specialist will also develop and implement evaluation procedures for the recruitment and allocation process, create high-quality ministerial briefings, and provide ongoing project and administrative support to senior staff members.
Key skills required include analytical (strategic and statistical) skills, report writing, and the ability to work semi-independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical workforce development, strategic planning, and program coordination. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
