Adelaide, South Australia Specialist Clinics At Blackwood Hospital Full time

An opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised person who desires a career in Medical Administration is available at Specialist Clinics at Blackwood Hospital. The Medical Receptionist will provide reception and administrative support to our Psychologist, Psychiatrist, General Physician and Occupational Therapists including but not limited to managing appointments, processing HICAPS and EFTPOS payments and covers all aspects of front-of-house duties. This will initially be a casual position, approximately 16-20 hours per week over 3 days with a possibility to either extend hours, or job share as the role develops. Must be flexible with working hours and able to cover leave if required. This position will be quite varied and has the opportunity to build to include assisting the Practice Manager. The successful applicant must have:

- Experience in Specialist or Allied Health practices
- Flexibility with hours
- Exceptional punctuality and presentation
- High level of customer service
- Outstanding organisation and multitasking skills (will have multiple specialists)
- Possess a good attention to detail and telephone manner
- Preferred knowledge of practice management systems such as Gentu, Nookal and Halaxy (training will be provided)
- The ability to work under pressure
- An excellent work ethic
- A genuine affinity for the industry
- Some knowledge of Medicare/Health Funds and NDIS would be an advantage
