Job Opportunity: Workforce Rostering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Rostering Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care services.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining rosters for a team of direct care staff, ensuring that services meet customer needs and preferences. This will involve editing and creating optimized rosters, providing solutions-focused approaches to rostering requirements, and communicating effectively with care staff, coordinators, and nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and maintain rosters in accordance with individual contracts and Enterprise Agreement requirements.
  • Provide reactive and proactive rostering solutions, taking into account forecast and unplanned leave.
  • Communicate promptly and effectively with care staff, coordinators, and nurses regarding changes to services.
  • Coordinate cover for all shift vacancies due to planned or unplanned leave.
  • Manage and maintain rostering systems to improve customer service and deliver best practice care and services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess significant rostering experience, preferably within the aged care/community services sector. You should have high-level communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to prioritize workloads and work effectively under pressure.

You will also need to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of best practice business processes relating to rostering and workforce optimization, as well as the ability to navigate rostering systems and software.
