About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing in-depth business-to-business relationships and securing sales for Panasonic's Toughbook product category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and services that will lead to strong revenue growth within your designated markets.
  • Provide accurate and effective forecasting of demand for product, pricing, and services.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Toughbook products, solutions, and technologies.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure appropriate campaigns are being developed to support the required call rates and conversion to sales.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key decision makers.
  • Expand Panasonic's presence in specific vertical markets.

Requirements

  • A high level of self-motivation, organization, and commercial acumen is essential.
  • A proven track record in prospecting and winning new business in the information technology industry or selling a solution into the transport, logistics, or government sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to network effectively with existing and potential clients.
  • Be technically minded with the ability to present solutions to complex scenarios.
  • An understanding of how to build a solid sales pipeline and create a compelling value proposition.
  • Demonstrate excellent numerical ability; able to understand and talk numbers, forecast sales/market trends – as well as listen to the needs of our customers.
  • Work autonomously but also cooperatively in a dynamic, competitive market.
  • A current and full driver's license and be willing to travel.
