At our aged care home, we welcome seniors with open arms and have been caring for them for over 65 years. We aim to revolutionize the way Australians think about ageing.
We are looking for a passionate Care Services Associate to assist in various roles at our Port Kennedy facility. This is a casual opportunity to work flexible shifts.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will be multiskilled and willing to work in at least one of the following roles:
- Ensure meal delivery, setup, service, washing, and clean down are completed
- Assist in meal preparation and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in facility areas, adhering to food hygiene standards
- Facilitate a safe and enjoyable dining experience for residents
- Guarantee responsible kitchen practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist in meal preparation, serving, and cleaning up
- Keep utensils, equipment, workbenches, and surrounding areas clean and safe
- Collect and wash dishes, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery
- Ensure bathrooms, toilets, furniture, floors, and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
- Restock supplies within the facility
- Liaise with colleagues to meet client needs
- Label and store clients' personal clothing in their rooms, identifying items needing repair
- Experience in a hospitality role, preferably in an aged care or similar environment
- A 'can-do' attitude and genuine compassion for residents
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current police clearance or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to get any required vaccinations
