Director of Injury Prevention and Management

We are seeking an experienced Director of Injury Prevention and Management to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive injury prevention and management strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a Group Workers Compensation Strategy that ensures alignment with the company's Safety & Health strategy
  • Lead a team of Workers Compensation specialists to develop consistent best practice processes and procedures across different portfolios
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver effective Workers Compensation outcomes

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing workers compensation across all jurisdictions, successfully developing and implementing strategies aligned with business and team outcomes. They will also possess strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing an effective end-to-end Group Workers Compensation Strategy
  • Collaborating with brands, People function, Legal, Treasury, Safety, and other relevant business areas to improve injury management outcomes and employee well-being
  • Developing and leading the process of handling workers' compensation claims
  • Staying informed about changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance
