Job Opportunity

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving system changes and process improvements to ensure efficient and customer-focused outcomes. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to plan and deliver projects, providing leadership, supervision, and support to staff, recommending and implementing training and development opportunities, encouraging a positive team culture, and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve business efficiency.
  2. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  3. Provide coaching and mentoring to staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
  4. Identify and recommend training and development programs to support staff growth and development.
  5. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes open communication and respect.
  6. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. A tertiary qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline is essential.
  2. Extensive experience in statutory planning and growth area planning at a senior level is highly desirable.
  3. Knowledge of community expectations in a growth and rural community environment is necessary.
  4. Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team of professionals is crucial.
  5. Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills are required.
