
Business Improvement Lead

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving system changes and process improvements to ensure efficient and customer-focused outcomes. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to plan and deliver projects, providing leadership, supervision, and support to staff, recommending and implementing training and development opportunities, encouraging a positive team culture, and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve business efficiency.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Identify and recommend training and development programs to support staff growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes open communication and respect.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- A tertiary qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline is essential.
- Extensive experience in statutory planning and growth area planning at a senior level is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of community expectations in a growth and rural community environment is necessary.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team of professionals is crucial.
- Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills are required.
