Administrative Operations Specialist
We are seeking an Administrative Operations Specialist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and development within our global business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative and operational elements essential to the efficient running of Information Technology. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as project coordinator and point of contact for the IT department
- Managing hardware ordering process, coordinating inventory of IT assets, and procuring inventory
- Coordinating contracts with vendors and suppliers, including managing invoicing and payment processes
- Assisting in managing vendor invoices and working closely with the Finance department to ensure timely payment
- Training new users on networks and software skills, software updates, and new systems
- Performing systems administration functions for designated information systems/technologies
- Attending various sites to provide administrative assistance where required
Key requirements for the role include:
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Technical and conceptual knowledge of ERP/Information Systems
- Knowledge of IT procurement and related processes
- Previous experience in IT and telecommunications
- Ability to drive key business initiatives through strong working relationships, effective communication, influencing, consulting, and cross-team collaboration
