Rehabilitation Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a professional with clinical expertise and guidance skills to support individuals regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.

Your key responsibilities will include developing personalized rehabilitation plans, completing assessments, and identifying potential return-to-work pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans that take a whole-person approach to recovery
  • Conduct a range of assessments including functional capacity evaluations, workplace assessments, and ergonomic assessments
  • Use your problem-solving skills and clinical experience to identify potential return-to-work pathways
  • Work closely with stakeholders to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors affecting an individual's ability to return to work
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or exercise physiology
  • Prior experience in occupational rehabilitation (minimum 12 months)
  • Sound knowledge of South Australian workers' compensation and CTP systems and legislations
  • Full Australian working rights
