Key Responsibilities

As the ideal candidate for this opportunity, it is expected that you can successfully manage a high volume leasing portfolio made up of both retail and commercial leasing matters. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  1. Preparing retail and commercial leases, disclosure statements, lease renewals, and assignments of lease;
  2. Negotiating amendments with tenants;
  3. Liaising with clients, clients' tenants and their lawyers and attending to queries;
  4. Assisting with leasing components of commercial property transactions where required;
  5. All other relevant administrative responsibilities that come with managing your own portfolio.
Essential Requirements
  1. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, gained in either a private practice law firm or in-house;
  2. Working knowledge and understanding of the Retail Leases Act 2003;
  3. Impeccable organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines;
  4. Ability to produce high-quality work with high attention to detail.
