About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Coordinator, Resilience & Environment to join our Resilience, Compliance & Commercial Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resilience planning across Council to ensure we are prepared to respond to any disruptive challenges. This will involve extensive community and organisational engagement, as well as leading a team that focuses on achieving climate change mitigation/adaptation and building resilience across our community.

The role will require the development and implementation of innovative programs, working with the local community, and managing our Environmental Health function. The Coordinator, Resilience & Environment will also be responsible for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies and programs that facilitate the improvement in the local environment.

Key areas of focus include Resilience, Environmental & Waste Management. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
