Guest Services Manager Job Description

The Guest Services Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring that all arriving guest groups and their leaders have an exceptional experience. This includes managing expectations, providing tools and knowledge to staff, and exceeding guest needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish connections with group leaders, understand their needs, and help them make their retreat/camp as great as it can be.\
  • Maintain a high standard of service, meeting room, and grounds/recreation categories of the guest survey.\
  • Be the primary guest services worker, ensuring all other staff understand guest expectations and maintain service standards.\
  • BUILD relationships with church leaders to ensure 70% of groups rebook for the next year.\
  • Contribute to marketing and sales efforts to meet occupancy goals.\
  • Work in concert with department managers and the director to ensure every guest leaves happy.\
  • Provide hospitality, support the Church, and utilize spiritual gifts of service.\
  • Foster a thriving and excellent Christian Camp environment.\
  • Strive to become the best place in Christian Camping for churches to host events.\
  • Exceed guest expectations, exceed team performance, and exceed company goals.\
