Company Overview:

Lifeline, a national leader in suicide prevention services, is seeking an experienced Organisational Design Specialist to lead the transformation of their Text and Chat function. With a focus on scalability, alignment with strategic objectives, and adaptability, this short-term position will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence within the organisation.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will conduct a comprehensive review of the current organisational structure, identifying strengths, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • They will develop a detailed proposal for a revised organisational structure, including defining key roles, reporting lines, responsibilities, and identifying areas where workforce capabilities need enhancement.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, the OD Specialist will build strong relationships and gather insights to ensure that organisational adjustments align with stakeholder expectations.
  • Additionally, they will identify development and capability gaps within the current workforce, create an upskilling plan, and implement change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to the new structure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational design or organisational development, particularly in dynamic environments.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and processes.
  • Analytical thinking skills to break down complex organisational structures and processes.
  • Strategic thinking expertise to align organisational design with both short-term operational needs and long-term strategic goals.
