Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our Board as a non-executive director.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with the Chairperson, Board, and executive team to ensure commercial excellence is balanced with public interest obligations.
  • Navigate the National Electricity Market landscape while ensuring commercial excellence and public interest obligations are met.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Impeccable professional integrity and an established credible reputation as a strategic leader in the energy sector.
  • Sophisticated stakeholder engagement skills, collaborative style, and commitment to safety and sustainability.
  • Skills and experience in energy trading, retailing, power system operations, or major asset project development, operations, and maintenance, with a sound understanding of National Electricity Market (NEM) dynamics.
  • Proven track record in senior executive or board roles in utilities, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Strong commercial and financial management experience.
  • High standard of integrity and demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct in corporate governance.
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing complex operational, market, or asset risks.
