Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Renewable Energy Design Leader to oversee the technical design and execution of our utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This individual will lead cross-functional teams in optimizing performance, driving cost efficiency, and maximizing project profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engineering design and modeling of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects
  • Direct development and review of engineering drawings, site layouts, and electrical schematics
  • Manage internal design workflows and serve as primary technical liaison for client-facing coordination
  • Review and approve complex construction documents
  • Provide strategic technical oversight during pre-construction and early execution phases
  • Remain at the forefront of emerging solar and energy storage technologies, regulatory changes, and industry design methodologies
  • Mentor and develop multidisciplinary engineering and design teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE license is highly preferred
  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience in renewable energy, with primary focus on utility-scale solar and energy storage facilities
  • Proven experience managing and developing large teams, with passion for talent development, mentorship, and collaboration with recruiting
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills, including experience in annual business planning and driving revenue growth
  • Proficiency in solar PV modeling software and other relevant technical tools
