Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful execution of large-scale community infrastructure projects. As a Commercial Project Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing scopes of work that meet the project's needs and requirements
  • Collaborating with a team of 3-4 professionals to drive project progress
  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly cost reports and forecasts
  • Administering head and sub-contracts with precision and attention to detail
  • Negotiating progress payments and addressing any contractual matters that arise

About you

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry
  • Strong commercial design and construct experience, preferably in Melbourne's top builders
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Superior problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving successful commercial outcomes for the company

What's on offer

This exciting opportunity comes with a salary package of $160K-$180K, plus the chance to work with one of Melbourne's leading design and construct commercial builders.

You'll have the opportunity to work on new build projects up to $40 million, based in our Ballarat office location. Our client is a dynamic and professional organization, specializing in social infrastructure projects up to $50 million.
