About the Role

At Albury Wodonga Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Officer to join our Revenue Services Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes across multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments and receipts accurately and efficiently
  • Reconcile floats and prepare banking statements
  • Raise accurate invoices for hospital goods/services
  • Investigate and follow up on short payments, overpayments, and health fund rejections
  • Handle debtor queries and ensure timely collection of accounts

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in an accounts receivable role with a proven track record of success
  • Previous experience in debt collection with a strong understanding of debt collection principles
  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and demonstrated experience using large integrated financial management systems
  • Demonstrated accurate and speedy data entry skills
  • High-level skills in MS Office, particularly Excel

Salary is estimated to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a permanent full-time position.
