Dynamic Mental Health Career Opportunity
Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Infant Child Youth Area Mental Health Wellbeing Service team. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will undertake a full range of clinical casework and other therapeutic interventions in collaboration with peers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake formal assessments, individual and family system work
- Work as a health professional within a multidisciplinary team providing a range of child, youth and family therapeutic interventions
- Develop and implement recovery models and trauma-informed practice
- Collaborate with peers to deliver Brief Intervention Models, Eating Disorder treatment and Single Session work
Requirements:
- Unencumbered registration with APHRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist Registrar or eligibility and willingness to enter into a PBA Registrar Program. Eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Work.
- Nurses will hold a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Knowledge of recovery models and trauma-informed practice
- Knowledge of Brief Intervention Models, Eating Disorder treatment and Single Session work would be a distinct advantage
