Airport Operations Specialist

At Melbourne Airport, we are seeking an experienced Airport Operations Specialist to join our Ground Transport team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of Ground Transport projects from design to delivery, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with airport regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver business improvements across Ground Transport operations, including processes, systems, and infrastructure projects.
- Manage the delivery of Ground Transport and other BU projects from design to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing risks to safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Ensure operational readiness for Ground Transport projects, including customer impact, readiness, cost, compliance, and efficient operations across the precinct.
- Manage the operational readiness interface of Ground Transport and other BU projects, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management and communications strategy for relevant Ground Transport projects.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge and experience within an airport operations or customer/operations delivery.
- Frontline experience recommended in supporting the development of the right solutions and operating models.
- Stakeholder management skills - internal and external.
- Experience in designing functional work areas.
- A background in working on large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
- Project coordination experience.
- Past experience in coordinator/advisor type role.
