We are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to drive new business and expand our customer base in the Service Provider industry. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for qualifying and validating opportunities, creating winning strategies, and delivering compelling pitches to secure Proofpoint's technology in the sales cycle.
About the Role
- Lead the sales cycle and resources for opportunities, ensuring seamless execution and maximum ROI.
- Develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets and grow our customer base, leveraging your expertise in the Service Provider market.
- Prioritize building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, fostering trust and driving loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop account plans, and execute winning sales strategies.
- Effectively communicate Proofpoint's value proposition through polished proposals, presentations, and demos, showcasing our cutting-edge solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor landscapes, and category-specific insights to inform your sales approach and stay ahead of the competition.
Your Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in selling solution-oriented packages to Service Providers, driving significant revenue growth.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals, with a keen ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and utilize good judgment in resolving complex issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for articulating Proofpoint's value proposition and differentiating our products from competitors.
- A BA/BS degree in an engineering field (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) is essential, with experience with Salesforce CRM a plus.
