The role of a Centre Manager is to lead and manage a team of early childhood educators in providing high-quality education and care to children. The Centre Manager will be responsible for guiding the development of the centre's educational program, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and managing the day-to-day operations of the centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive team engagement through positive leadership and coaching
- Ensure all policies and procedures are practiced across the centre
- Provide regular updates to families and management about the educational program and the learning and development of individual children
- Guide the self-assessment process and support the development of quality improvement plans
- Manage all day-to-day aspects of administration and operations
- Experience as a Centre Manager within the childcare sector
- A passion for Early Childhood Education
- A strong commitment to all aspects of child safety
- Leadership skills to provide direction, coaching, and mentoring
- Proven ability in administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development, and training
- Experience in assessment and rating, including self-assessment and quality improvement plan development
- Knowledge of the service requirements of the CCS system
- A thorough understanding of Early Learning Frameworks such as the EYLF, NQS, QKLG, and relevant legislative requirements
