This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Hotel Operations Manager at the Toongabbie Hotel, located in the heart of Sydney.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to assist in the day-to-day operations of the hotel. As Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Venue Manager with leading teams, recruitment, and training staff. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional guest experiences through effective management and development of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Venue Manager with leading teams and driving business performance
  • Develop and train staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience every time
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, including opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, and recruiting team members
  • Bring your passion for good food and creating memorable moments for our guests
  • Be creative and develop initiatives to drive business growth

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated management experience within the hospitality industry
  • Predominantly gaming experience, ideally working across food, bars, and gaming
  • Ability to lead, develop, and coach a large, multi-skilled team
  • Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets
  • Highly developed customer service skills
  • Current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications
  • Marketing knowledge is a plus, but not necessary

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $72,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus superannuation, bonus, and discounts.
