Transportation Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The role is responsible for coordinating routine freight movements between locations in a timely and efficient manner, following Chain of Responsibility processes and procedures.

  • Supervise and oversee the transportation and loading of general freight to company projects across Australia.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of goods as required.
  • Coordinate and oversee the provision of third-party transport services between sites to cost effectively supplement organic resources.
  • Coordinate trucking schedules to suit operational requirements.
  • Assist in arranging permits and licensing for trucks on all routes so all regulations and guidelines are covered.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar capacity within the mining sector or transport industry.
  • Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Previous experience with an ERP System (SAP preferred).
  • Full understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements associated with the shipment of goods.
  • LF Forklift ticket.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'C-A essential.
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements.
