Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the position of Project Coordinator.

This is a fixed-term role, which will last for 15 months. The successful candidate will be based onsite at a client site located in Bunbury, WA.

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the transport, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials for capital goods in the mining and energy sector.

The successful candidate will prepare and issue weekly reports from Material Management System (MMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). They will also provide customized freight forwarding solutions to meet customer requirements.

In addition, they will prepare quotations for domestic freight movements as needed, coordinate and expedite project freight movements, and maintain records of freight movements on tracking systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of road transport and freight forwarding procedures and regulations, experience with materials and warehouse management systems and processes, and experience with cargo handling and loading restraint procedures.

They will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, strong knowledge of HSE disciplines, and adherence to DHL compliance requirements.
