Job Description:

This role involves coordinating the movement of equipment and freight from overseas factories to multiple branches within Australia. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong professional attitude.

The successful applicant will manage incoming shipments, coordinate container transport delivery from port to branches, organise transport between interstate branches, liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for updates on outstanding orders, update delivery reports and ETAs, obtain freight costings for equipment, and build stronger networks with shipping companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming shipments of equipment from overseas factories
  • Coordinate container transport delivery from port to multiple branches within Australia
  • Organise transport of equipment between interstate branches
  • Liaise regularly with suppliers and manufacturers for updates on outstanding orders
  • Update delivery reports and ETAs from factories
  • Obtain freight (domestic and international) costings for equipment
  • Build relationships with shipping companies to find efficient ways to move equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service focus and skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (good Excel and Word skills)
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all times
  • Motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Set own work priorities with strong time management
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
