Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist role is a critical position that requires the right individual to drive continuous improvement of workplace health and safety initiatives and ensure best practice in manufacturing, sales, and customer teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing improvement of workplace health and safety initiatives to the organisation
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure compliance with government rules, regulations, and industry standards
  • Work with internal sales and direct customer teams to deliver safety and environmental improvements
  • Perform risk-based assessments of systems, processes, and equipment
  • Develop and implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and data gathering
  • Continuously improve site waste management, reduce carbon footprint, and achieve zero non-hazardous waste to landfill

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in environmental systems and procedures
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of WHS and environmental legislation and codes of practice
