About the Role

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator and Coach role is primarily office-based, providing day-to-day support for operations, safety, and continuous improvement activities within the Service Market Logistics team as we transition into a new warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align CI and safety initiatives with the Volvo Performance System framework.
  • Maintain and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to foster operational excellence.
  • Support risk identification, mitigation, and compliance efforts across the site.
  • Assist with safety investigations and coordinate actions with relevant partners.
  • Contribute to the CI and Safety Annual Plan and manage the annual calendar of key deliverables.
  • Ensure clear communication of legislative updates and safety processes.
Qualifications
  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience coordinating CI or safety processes in an operational setting.
  • Ability to manage small projects and present information to small teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Visio and Power BI is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI methods like Root Cause Analysis, 5S, or Kaizen.
  • Certificate IV or equivalent experience in Safety or Continuous Improvement is highly regarded.
